How does the heart variability tracking work with the Sense? Does it track it all the time (like wearing a portable ECG) or do you have to use it like a spot-check sort of thing?
I have heart palpitations and I can't always predict when they happen and I also can't always feel them. I have a nice little pulse oximeter that will tell me things like "Suspected short pulse interval" or "Suspected irregular pulse rate" occasionally, but I have to go grab it and put it on my finger while I'm feeling the flutters.
Anyway, if the Sense works like the spot-checking pulse oximeter, then I don't want it. But if it works like an all-day ECG, then I think it might be useful. Thank you!

It's a spot check only. See the following help article for details: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2457.htm

Heart rate variability is different then the EGG. HE is monitored during sleep.
Both are explained in this help doc.
