Stylianos - if I'm not mistaken you can disable the button for 'press & hold' and also for 'Double press'. This is available under SETTINGS / SHORTCUTS on your sense.

Could you switch it to other arm so button is away from wrist?  Off hand, I don't know of any way to deactivate button.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Alexa gets activated and freezes the watch by being activated multiple times in short intervals.

The other hand performs the exact same move, snatch with one hand ? That would be cool. It gets pressed by both sides when you perform such exercises.

I deactivated Alexa once and for all. Unfortunately the side button gets pressed during the exercise and prompts the whole time to activate alexa. 😑

Can you move the watch a little bit up the arm? Also most users find a better heart reading when doing so.

Exercises like snatch and clean & jerk are performed with explosive movement of the body. Even if I place the Fit Bit up the arm, it will slide down. It also slides down as you walk especially when you sweat on cardio exercises. I agree, if I stand like the statue of liberty it will get a better reading.

When I wear my Sense on my left hand and bend my hand backward -- a normal position for lots of daily activities -- it frequently causes The Button to be pressed against my skin firmly enough and long enough that the device reboots.  I've tried moving it up onto my forearm and down onto my wrist, but I have yet to find a position that avoids the unintentional press.  Any advice on how to prevent or limit this?

One approach I have taken is turning the watch face to the inside of my wrist to keep from having to deactivate button features (press+hold, double press) that I used daily.

This does NOT work for me. I have disabled the buttons for press and hold and double press. This is obsolete when it comes to workout modes. The side button still pauses my workouts- this is making it useless. I will be going back to my versa 2.

The worst part is, it's not even a capacitive button!  Squeeze the straps near the bezel/frame and it'll activate!  Just wearing it tight and twist your wrist and it registers.  I wish I could return it honestly.  Constantly goes off.
