How to reply to messages through the watch

I just recently purchased the FitBit Sense and I can't seem to reply to messages through my watch. Can anyone provide any insight? I do have an Android phone.

I had this issue. What app are you using for messages?

This is what I do....When I received a message, tap on the message, tap on the mic, tap start and speak, then tap send.

You have to go to the 'notifications' section.

Open the app

Tap on your avatar in the top left corner

Tap on the picture of your sense (under devices). 

Scroll down and select 'notifications' 

Select text notifications and select the app you use for texting. 

Lower in the notification screen there are also options for voice reply and quick replies that you can activate.
