How to stop motivational message to my fitbit Sense

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I keep receiving motivational messages to my fitbit everyday and I have already unchecked all the notifications within my fitbit app and on my dashboard.  Yet they still keep showing up.  I don't need motivational messages and would like to stop them.  Please help.

Thanks,

Damon

Hi @DamonIE, good to see you in the community.

Can you explain further what these messages are saying?

Thanks.

Hi @DamonIE I think I know the ones you are referring to. On your app, go to your account and select the Sense. On the page that comes up, scroll down to Health and Wellness Reminders, select it and turn all the reminders off. If they are not thrones you mean, then more details needed as @N8teGee suggests.

Hi @N8teGee "Regular exercise naturally lowers anxiety. Try a light activity that gets your heart rate into fat burn zone" and "Get in the zone! Time spend in your cardio heart rate zone earns you double the Active Zone Minutes". @NellyG Yes tried all of that already, they are all set to disabled (or off).

Seems that this maybe an issue until they come out with a firmware update.

Also sadly "Active Zone Minutes" are so useless with the accuracy of the HR monitor, I've had nothing but problems with accuracy with my Sense. My Charge 3 was much more accurate. But that's a separate issue.

Thanks for trying to help!  Any other ideas?

For me, my atrial fibrillation is counted as active zone minutes. ;-/

I have the same problem; I can’t figure out where to turn off the feature that sends the notification you describe ….about how exercise lowers stress. The health and wellness reminder settings for Sense only provide toggles for mindfulness, nutrition and washing your hands, nothing about exercise. The other notification toggles for the device all relate to those from your phone (calls, texts, calendar events) and the only other settings in the device menu are for third party app notifications (which the exercise motivation message is not). In the Fitbit account settings I’ve toggled all notifications to off (except battery life) so I am at a loss where any other settings for such messages may be 😞
