Hi there just got my Dad a sense for Christmas and we are having troubles setting it up on his Huawei P40 device. I realize now the Fitbit app seems only to be available on Google play for iOS and Andoid 7.0 or newer. We tried downloading the old version of the app and turned on all the permissions and it still either asks us to ensure the phone is using android 7.0 or newer or it just kicks you out every time you try and set up the device. I went to add device, selected the appropriate model, and when you select setup it just returns you to the previous screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way around this?

@Matty_pee There is a reason why you are having trouble with your Huawei P40. The Google Play Store was removed as a result of trade sanctions levied on China by the US. (Android Help page) I am not a Huawei or Android user. But I think there is a way to put the Google Play Store on your Dad's phone. If you do an internet search, there are ways listed.
