Why has the floor count been incorrect and when will it be fixed. Concerned perhaps other counts could be incorrect as well

To answer you question bluntly, probably never. 

 

This issue has been present for the best part of a year now, and it seems Fitbit have made zero attempt to fix it. Just like the HR issue (which they acknowledge) where they said a fix will likely never come. This (here) is the response given by a Mod stating, and I quote "Our team is aware, but may not be able to provide a fix in the immediate future.".

 

All I can say is good luck waiting for the floor count fix, in the meantime my device has stopped counting floors altogether.
