Is Fitbit Sense compatible with Motorola Moto G 5G Plus?

Does the FitBit sense pair to a Moto G 5G Plus phone.

I had an iPhone6 that work seemlessly 100% of the time. Paired instantly first attempt and never dropped out once in 6 months.

The phone was a work supplied one and got so outdated I was forced to upgrade to this abomination.

It has never paired with Sense and I have done all the re-installs, remove devices, Bluetooth on Bluetooth off, adjustment of settings these forums advise.

Alot of the fitbit forums and help articles say check the list of compatible devices and all I have seen is the version of Android I need and I am well over the requirement. I do not see a list of phones anywhere.

So that is why I am asking the question. Have I now got a phone that will never connect to my Sense?

Hi @reggie69  Fitbit used to have a list of phones, but it became easier to just list the basic system requirements. It's not so much the phone, as the operating system. I have friends and family using Motorola phones, but none are the 5G newest one. They use the Moto G Stylus and Moto E6.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14

Thanks. I am few versions after the stated minimum OS, so I was hoping there was a list somewhere by phone.

Hi @reggie69. Welcome to the Community Forums. @Odyssey13 Thanks for stopping by to help our member.

@reggie69 Thanks for every step tried prior to posting and for the details provided. As @Odyssey13 mentioned, as long as your phone meets the compatibility requirements it should work correctly. Because this hasn't been the case, may I know if you see an error message when trying to set up your Sense? Do you have other Bluetooth connections nearby?

Even though you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following:

  1. Remove your Sense from the Bluetooth settings on your Moto G 5G Plus phone. If you have your iPhone nearby, do the same.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. On your phone settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Force Stop.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your watch.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Select your Sense and follow the on-screen instructions.
