Sense SpO2 simply does not work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

No matter what support offers , this simply does not function. Mine gas never displayed, never showed a graph, ever functioned, even though at times it shows that it is recording.

The Sense also regularly misses floors climbed, loses connection, and displays a far different heartbeat reading in the app than it does on the device, making the zone info i credibly inaccurate.

I should have just went with the Apple watch.

Hi @SunsetRunner. It's nice to see you here in the forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, as well as contacting our Support team. I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry your Sense isn't tracking your SpO2 data correctly. Because your post didn't mention, may I know if you've reviewed our help article that describes what factors affect SpO2? Take in mind that your watch needs to sync in order to update your details in the Fitbit app. If you've not done so, please give a try to the following to reconnect your watch to the Fitbit app:

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Restart your Sense.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Select your Sense, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once this is done, install the SpO2 Tracker one more time, wear it slightly higher on your wrist at night and once you're awake, sync to check your details. Make sure to turn on all permissions for the SpO2 Tracker app.

In regards to the floors count, does this happen when doing a specific activity or all the time? As you may know, your watch will register 1 floor when you climb about 10 feet (3 meters). If this applies to you, please monitor your watch after performing the restart to see if it starts recording your floors correctly.

About the heart rate, check this help article which describes what factors affect this reading and some tips to improve the accuracy.
