Is there a Type-C charging cable for Sense?

The old usb charger cable doesn’t support quick charge, even when I plug it on a 35W power adapter, Sense tells me it was “slow charging”, it’s not normal, the charger cable needs an update. Thanks.

Hi @MandyYC  - slow charging usually comes about when there is a poor connection or a bad charge cable, or poor quality power source. Make sure the contacts are properly cleaned before each charge.

The max current required for charging is only 340 ma, So a high speed charger should work fine if it regulates the voltage properly.

If you still get annoying regular slow charging messages turning off the watch via Shutdown from the watch Settings menu can help. Sync first and do the Shutdown whilst charging otherwise it will come on again.

Good point about the type C plug but the type A is still the most common, it is always useful to have an adaptor to hand, sometimes new PC devices come with one.

@Guy_ USB-C port built into the watch would make charging more standard but I don't think it's a way to go due to space requirement. Forgetting the charger wouldn't be an issue anymore. For wearables, I see wireless charging as most viable solution. For Garmin, I have a little USB-C adaptor that I carry with my keyring (and have a few spares here and there). If I need to charge it while being on holiday less likely I will be stuck without charger. Adaptor is always with me and USB-C cables are everywhere.
