Janky Sleep Tracking

Can y’all please fix your issue with it randomly deciding when it wants to record sleep data. There’s absolutely no reason it gets to choose the nights it randomly works. Please make your product work as intended. If I would have known this would be a constant, near daily struggle I wouldn’t have wasted the money.

Hi, @SunriseRun477, welcome to the community, you may find this article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? of interest. You do need to sleep for at least three hours before the process is triggered. I hope this is helpful.

It doesn’t help since I’m already doing all I can. It will track some nights but not all. Sometimes I have to delete the sleep log and manually reenter the time and it will show the proper sleep analysis. Sometimes that doesn’t even work.

Hi, @SunriseRun477, thanks for your info. As mentioned earlier you do need to be sleeping for at least three hours, if you are a restless sleeper that may explain what is happening. May I suggest you let a friend or family member use your device to see if they get a sleep record. If your problem persists I can only suggest you contact "Customer Support" here. Use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response.

I am a VERY restless sleeper, yet my sleep is recorded just fine. Plus, I have taken hour naps and it is recorded. So, saying that you must sleep 3 hours before anything is recorded is interesting...

Agree with you lablover. I take a nap during the day. I always get a sleep log. If want an analysis of the log, the duration must be 3 hours minimum.
