Language and region settings fitbit sense

Yesterday I got my new Fitbit Sense. I live in Germany but my primary languages are Dutch/English so I’d like my FB dashboard and Sense to have either of these languages. Multiple times, I have changed the region (Germany) to Dutch/English in my dashboard. I also changed language settings in the Fitbit app and changed the time from Berlin to Amsterdam, just in case. The Dashboard and app use either of these languages. Perfect! However, my Sense keeps reverting back to German! And even though I speak it very well, I vastly prefer English. What am I doing wrong?

also, am I correct in assuming the Sense can only connect to one iOS device at the time?

Thanks so much for your help. Have a great day!

Hi Kat... as far as I know you are correct, the Sense can only connect to one device at a time.  You can have it set up to sync with two devices (i.e. each device knows about the Sense), but if the devices are in close proximity they will conflict with each other and sync won't work at all.

On the language thing, I'm wondering if your sense is picking up the language preference from your device (phone or tablet) during the sync process?  What language is it/they set to?  The other possibility is that the Fitbit firmware doesn't have Dutch/English capability and is reverting to German, but that's just a guess.  Maybe one of the Fitbit staff can chime in???

Hi Drtolson, thanks for taking the time to reply and help. I actually thought the same thing but my languages on my iPad and iPhone are set to Dutch and English. No German in sight. It’s very confusing. I’ve changed all settings but the language setting in the internet dashboard keeps reverting back to German. Not even every time I synchronize but it appears to happen almost daily. Very strange. Hopefully someone is able to tell me what’s going on.

Hi @Gr4ndp4 , it looks like the TS in that post has a different problem but I’ll definitely give this a go. You never know. Fingers crossed!  Thanks for your time and input!
