I have a Charge 3 with no built-in GPS. I prefer the Map My Fitness app to the Fitbit App to track runs, hikes, and bike rides. More accurate GPS data than Fitbit and easier to compare times on the same event with previous events. But it has no heart-rate data. I get the best of both worlds by syncing Map My Ride app activities to my Fitbit app. Looking at the Map My Ride app, I get more data about the event, but I can look at the Fitbit app to get heart-rate data about the same event.
My Charge 3 is having problems now with battery charging and display brightness. I'm ready to swap it out.
Can I disable the built-in GPS on the Sense, use the Map my Ride app to track GPS data and sync that data to my Fitbit App?

@SunsetRunner Yes, you can. When you choose an exercise from the Exercise app, there are settings that you can personalize on the device itself. When I choose Bike, there is a tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen. Swipe up and scroll. There is an option to turn the GPS off. Walk, Run. Bike, and Hike appear to be the only exercises that can use GPS. GPS is controlled for each exercise.

I've used MapMyWalk in parallel with Sense to compare the results. They length of the walk is similar, typically around 20m difference in 3km. But I prefer the Fitbit app as the mapping seems crisper, and of course it has heart rate data etc. However, back to your question, I see that three months ago the Community page on the MapMyFitness site, in response to a similar question to yours here, (headed Fitbit two-way integration with MapMyFitness on their page) said We do not currently offer the ability to sync data to/ from Fitbit
Hope this helps
