Medication reminder on Sense

Hello,

one great feature would be to have a repetitive reminder of medication that need to be taken, daily or weekly. This can also be useful for vitamins or minerals intake. If Sense is health orientated this could be a plus.

I sometimes forget to take my medication and I keep track with an Android app like MyTherapy that keeps track of the remaining pills count and warns me when I need to go to the chemist again to get a prescription.

Might be an idea for a third party app or feature request.

Best regards

Hi, @pcoloma , you will be able set Up to 10 alarms per day on your Fitbit (which can recur).  Unfortunately there is not currently a facility to name your reminders, so you would have to know why your Fitbit is reminding you...

There is a feature suggestion to allow naming/labelling alarms which you can find here .  Although it is listed as “not currently planned” and is closed to comments, you can still vote for it.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

I completely agree this would be a great addition to Fitbit.
there is an app I use on my versa 2 called PIll tracker which does not alert you but you tick when you have taken your meds so you can check to see if you forgot or remembered.
would be good in combo with prompt

Reply to pcoloma:

Reminder (for medication):  I have a (personal) silent alarm already set on my Fitbit (now) that I use just for this purpose.  It gives me a 6:30 a.m. and then a 6:30 p.m. buzz on my Fitbit.

This may not be a workable solution for everyone, but here is what I currently do. I set repeating calendar events for specific meds on my iPhone, then enable calendar notifications for my Fitbit device. This way, when the calendar reminder pops up on my Fitbit, it specifically says which medicine it is for.

I might have to try this as I'm constantly forgetting my night time meds.
