My Sense screen is black

My watch was working fine, but now the screen is black.  I tried holding the button done, as shown in the you tube example, but I am not even getting a vibration.  I have had this watch since December. Any thoughts?

About a week ago my Fitbit Sense went Black.

 

And still nothing. 

 

My issue sounds almost exactly like all of you'rs.

Restart worked - hopefully it will continue that way. I can now scroll up
on the clockface. Thanks!

I just had this issue.  I pressed the reset button and a message suggested to disconnect Bluetooth then reconnect.   This worked.

I've been charging mine for several days now and the logo screen has come on. 

 

When I Press and hold the button to restart, the vibrations are back. 

 

It kind of goes back into a restart loop

However 

If I hold the button down for a while like 1 minute.

 

It goes from a logo screen to a black screen and it sits like that for a while, before showing the logo screen again and before you're able to feel vibrations again.

 

When I was first trying to fix it. One of the instructions I came across was to unlink and disconnect you'r fitbit sense from both the Fitbit app and Bluetooth. 

 

Neither worked for me.

 

But it's good to know what has worked for some of you guy'ses.

Yes it worked for me too. All I had to do was do a reset.

I just installed the most recent update. I put my sense on its charger as it updated. It was at 96% when I took it off. I scrolled through the new interface, tried the google assistant app, didn't work. 

Not too phased, I ate dinner and in that time my screen went blank. I switched blue tooth on and off, closed and reopened the app, tried a hard reset, didn't work. No vibration when pressing the side button, no vibration or screen light up when I put it on the charger again. It appears to have died right after the update.

Twice it vibrated when I touched the side button, but screen was still blank. It's again giving me zero response now. The app is unable to connect to it. The charge level on the app is 95%, which means it was almost fully charged the last time it connected to the app. 

It's really strange that this happened right after the newest update.

Is my Sense now dead? Because none of the troubleshooting options are working.

Please help.

I have had many versions of this topic. Black screen, still vibrating, not able to reset. I believe it is salt water that is causing me trouble as this happens after being in my boat. A fresh water cleaning and wipe off fix the problem for me.
