My thoughts about the Fitbit Sense

Anyone else disappointed in Sense? I loved my Ionic it held a charge for 5 days this sense barely makes two days. I uninstalled as many apps as I could from the 6 month free premium but it is still draining my battery. Any suggestions?

@grammyk58 What phone are you connected to and is the disconnecting happening with the phone close by? My Sense stays connected fine for 40-ish feet. And when it disconnects because I go further, it reconnects just fine.

It doesn’t seem to matter how close or far away my Sense is from my phone. They “lose “ each other continuously for days and then it’s okay for a while. It continued from a couple of days before my original comment until yesterday. The last two days have been okay as far as staying connected but now the sleep tracking is hit and miss. Several days in a row of just “sleep “ “restless “ “awake” and then a day or two with all of the details.  I have tried adjusting where it is on my wrist as well as how tight it is on my arm.
I have an iPhone 11.

@grammyk58 Connection issues sometimes get fixed by deleting your Sense from the Fitbit app and then adding it back. You don't lose any data and the only thing that resets is the weather app to Celsius if you are on Fahrenheit.

For tracking issues, it's recommended to shutdown the Sense and then turn it back on. Although, I think a lot of the issues with scores and information that come in the morning (SpO2, readiness, etc.) are a Fitbit server side issues and have nothing to do with the device or phone.

just to update, finally shipped back to Australia (using an illegal customs declaration which they sent and i refused to sign). On 12 April got message saying new pebble on the way. This time from Hong Kong! 60 hours later DHL shows label has been printed but package not handed over. At this rate with luck i will have been without the fitbit for two months by the time i get a replacement, i now plan to sell it when it arrives as i really don't need this sort of awful  support when (not if) it breaks again.
