just got a replacement fit bit sense I’ve got it connected to my phone via Bluetooth and my internet so far but when I try to download the firmware update via the internet it automatically kicks the connection but when I try downloading the update via Bluetooth no problem? Why?

Hi @Bujuman73  - it would appear that your router access for the watch WiFi has some form of protection that your phone doesn't have, possibly if your are using a data connection and not your WiFi.

 

An alternative possiblity is you are too far away from your router for the weak WiFi signal to sustain a connection whereas the phone may have a stronger WiFi receiver or switches to data automatically if the signal is too weak.
