New Sense and start screen

Help!  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my Fitbit app..  I have deleted everything I have sync'd under my bluetooth.  i have checked location and device permissions.  My Wifi is on, the other phone in the house with a Fitbit is turned off and every time I try to set up my new Sense, it will pair to my phone and it go right back to the start up screen and then nothing.  My phone no longer recognises it and tells me to download the fitbit app.  

What do I do now??

Hi @sinnyloo what do you mean by the Sense will pair to the phone. What phone model are you asking about? 

A user can not and should not be able to pair a Fitbit tracker to the phone. 

All setup needs to be done through the Fitbit app

Once the tracker has been setup, the Fitbit app will ask you for permission to pair the tracker. 

The message displayed on the tracker is telling you to. 

  • Open the Fitbit app on the phone 
  • Log into your Fitbit account. 
  • Do a setup, which connects your tracker to your Fitbit account. 
  • After the tracker is setup, you will be asked to connect to WiFi. 
  • Then you will be promoted to update the firmware. 

Wifi needs to be the 2.5
