Hi everyone.
I purchased a Fitbit sense for my mom to monitor her heart, sleep etc. She is very much up in age so it helps me monitor her. However her new Sense lasted only 3 months and would not charge at all. I purchased another and it came today. (worried it will have the same issues)
I have the app with the old statistics and info on and am a premium member.
What do I do to set up the new one? Do I have to reinstall the app again and start from scratch? If not how do I merge the new Sense with the old app?

Just set up the device and it will replace the old one.
In the phone Fitbit App Click on profile photo [top left] Click on + Set up a Device Follow the installation instructions |

You should not have had to purchase a new unit when the original unit was still under warranty.
To setup, simply open the fitbit app, and add the tracker to the fitbit account.

@rsh916 - It’s probably not too late to contact Fitbit Support regarding the original Sense. Like @Rich_Laue said, it should still be under warranty.
