I love my fitbit ionic with its GPS as it shows me where and how fast I have been cycling on strava.

my ionic has stopped working, is it worth buying the Fitbit Sense for my needs?

Sense, Versa 3, and Charge 4 also have built-in GPS.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I don't know how well the Iconic GPS behaves, but it's worth searching for how well the Sense GPS performs.  I'm personally very disappointed with the Sense GPS and would advise considering the Charge 4.  The Charge 4 allows you to choose between using the builtin GPS or using your phone's GPS as "connected GPS".  Most phones will give better GPS performance, so if the builting GPS isn't satisfactory, you have options.

My sense GPS works great first time you use it take a bit to get connected a few minutes it drops a few times I suggest stopping the tracking exercise and restarting again you will second time it finds the GPS a lot faster it might say it lost GPS connection but after reviewing the maps and the GPS tracking it did excellent in tracking my entire route with all the states unbroken.
