Newly bought sense major problems

Just bought my new Fitbit sense for my birthday and am having a host of problems already.

sometimes, will not sync in the morning - done everything advised on the appropriate thread.

will not sync my SPO2 on my vital stats on the Fitbit site; yet does give me a reading on my wrist. As this is of particular importance in these days and times I am quite miffed that I can’t have it. I am also starting to doubt it’s accuracy, having given me a reading of 93 for the last few days, it now reads 91 - starting to be a cause for concern - at this moment in time.

But the worse - for me at least - was my heartbeat which went to 140 and some, just seating; I know I am stressed but it did freak me out.

so I removed it and away from my wrist, it’s giving me a reading of between 90 + and 78 and it was MOVING UP OR DOWN without being near my body.

what is wrong with the watch? Can you explain? Do not need more cause for flipping out !

thank you

Accepted Solutions

Probably best to temporarily set the display timeout to 60 seconds first.

On the watch

Swipe left

Settings

Display

Scroll to Screen Timeout

And change to 8 s

Then you can try this to see how well your watch reacts for heart rate Sense Heart rate accuracy, fun experiment

Hi @Marmelade for sync issues look here

Your SpO2 is a available on the phone app, not the website.

Seems like unrealistic heart rate readings is a common issue.

Probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Hi thank you for replying. I have downloaded the SpO2 on the Fitbit App - iPad not iPhone - and chose the appropriate watch face. I do have a reading during the day but no night reading nor download on my stats.

Hi Guy, thank you for replying. Done what you advised. No Joy. When I get to Display, it’s totally dim and cannot turn it to Normal and when I get to Screen time out  and tap on it nothing happens; the option is not there to change anything.
i am not familiar with the Sense , just the basics and not with the sub-menus.

i am waiting to hear from support from Fitbit, in an email, promised in a recent chat.
