My heart rate shows constantly, so there's no problem there. If I go into EDA and use the 'Quick Scan' for 2 minutes, at the end of the session it shows my heart rate at the beginning and end of the session. However, if I go into one of the 'Guided Sessions' and do the same, at the end of the session it tells me that "There was no heart rate data captured for your session. Wear your Fitbit during your mindfulness session to see any heart rate changes." If I then look at my Fitbit, the heart rate is showing correctly. So for some reason the longer guided sessions aren't registering my heat rate.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Hi @SunsetRunner. It's good to see you here in the forums.
Thanks for sharing that your heart rate data doesn't appear after completing a guided session with the EDA Scan app. While it's odd that your heart rate data isn't showing up, may I know if you started the mindfulness session from the Mindfulness tile? Let me explain that the Discover tab on the Fitbit app offers a variety of mindfulness sessions, however the ones that are compatible with EDA detection and provide heart rate data can be found in the Mindfulness tab or in the Discover tab > Mindfulness > See All > Sessions for Your Sense. Please make sure to use one of them if you want to check your heart rate readings during this session.
I'll look forward to your reply.

Hi Lizzy. Yes, I went into the Mindfulness tile. I've tried the first three on there, Guided Breathing, Body Scan and Noting. I get the same result every time "there was no heart rate captured for your session", although looking at my watch the heart beat is there under the normal watch face view.

Hi I have the exact same issue. pls help. It worked the first few times when I used the guided session with EDA but it no longer registers the heart beat although the heart beat in the app still works. I felt something was wrong when last night it didnt record my sleep patterns even though I had a watch strapped on.
Tried rebooting my phone as well

Hi @SunsetRunner, it's good to see you here in the forums. @KevinShep, welcome on board.
Thanks to both of you for sharing more details about this situation, and confirming that you've tried the sessions compatible with EDA detection. Even though you've tried some steps, let me recommend to try the following:
@KevinShep, in regards to your sleep not being detected, I'd recommend to double check this help article which explains how your sleep data is recorded and what factors prevent you from getting sleep stages.

I started having this issue too recently, it worked fine when just purchased but all EDA scans show no HR data now. I saw the below possible solution to remove the EDA scan feature and rebooting... this watch is beginning to be more troubleshooting than anything else between this, poor HR accuracy, no offline app support, requiring a special watch face for SPO2, low GPS mileage compared to other devices. I am likely going to return it which is disappointing because it looks amazing and I have been with Fitbit since the Fitbit Flex but every new release just seems to add issues.

I'm having both problems. EDA Guided scans show no heart rate capture. My sleep capture is a hit and miss issue. Some time I see capture for 2 hours then a capture for the last 3 hours of my evening sleep. Leaving a 2-3 gap in my sleep cycle.

Thanks, but I think I found the solution that had actually been there all the time. Although I get the message telling me that there was no heart rate data captured, if I go into 'Your journey' it shows all the sessions that have been completed together with all the corresponding heart rates. So although it says it isn't capturing heart rate, it actually is! Definitely a problem that need to be fixed there.
But following on from that, the next time I went into the Mindfulness tab the app crashed and continued crashing on that tab until I uninstalled and reinstalled it! I searched these forums and found that it's not just me either as you can see from this https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Sense-App-crashing-out-of-mindfulness-tab/td-p/4507729#
Off the subject, but I don't even get any notifications. They are there if I pull down from the top of the watch screen, but I don't know they're there until I look for them which kind of negates the idea of a notification!
I loved this Sense when I first got it, but am starting to get a bit frustrated with it now 😞
So many little problems now are starting to appear. You'd really think all this would have been tested before releasing it!

The problem with missing HR after the mindfullness session is related to the app and not Sense. I had the same problem with my Inspire HR and now Sense. I have gotten used to wait 1-2 minuttes for the data to be synced and then check the log for the result. It worked fine 5-6 months ago but a recent update of the app caused this bug.

I'm getting the same results in a two or three minute mindfulness session. I'm using meditations from the tiles as suggested also.

Hi everyone. It's nice to see you again and welcome to our new members. @Nicola_grec, thanks for your help!
Thanks for sharing more details about this situation experienced with the Stress Management tile not showing your heart rate readings. @Micsb, thank you also for the screenshots. Let me share that our team recently released a new version of the Fitbit app, so please check if you have it updated and try completing the EDA Scan guided session one more time making sure to wear your Sense a finger’s width above your wrist bone.
If the issue persists, just for the ones that haven't done so, provide me with the model and OS/software version of your phone.
Keep me posted.

Hi @LizzyFitbit Thank you for following up on this issue. It is the same, the session still show no hearth rate available until you go back and sync the device.
I have tried twice, both with and without EDA scan on the new 3.33 app version recently released.
It only show a partial result if I do it quickly, jump out to the main screen after a mindfull session, press sync, and go back into the log. One more sync is needed to get the complete graph populate with HR data. As the HR wrist monitor usually is a handfull of seconds behind, I assume it need at least 5-10 sec before it has the complete data set ready to match the period of the session, and it never would be able to show the result right after finishing the session.

Hi @Micsb. Welcome back to the forums.
Thanks for the information provided and the steps tried on your own. These details are very helpful and will allow us to investigate what may be occurring with the heart rate readings not appearing after completing a guided session with the EDA Scan on your Sense.
I'll be around if you have more questions.
