Notifications are not coming through my Sense

I reinstalled fitbit app to try and fix afib notifications not completing. However, now if I go to

Account/Sense/Notifications I see:
"Your phone's  ringer is not on. Incoming calls will not be sent to your tracker and app notifications will be sent silently while your phone is in silent mode" warning.

So, I am not in sleep mode. I am not in Do not Disturb mode on either watch or phone. Sense controls is paired.

It was working fine before the reinstall of the fitbit app.

Hi there, @scaddenp. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out.

Please note that you won’t see notifications if you turned on settings such as focus, do not disturb, quiet hours, or driving mode on your phone. For troubleshooting steps, please see Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply. I do not have sleep, do not disturb etc on. My watch is receiving notifications but not calls. On wrist calling setup works as expected. Everything was working before a fitbit app reinstall. I have tried uninstall, restart phone, restart watch, reinstall, unpair and pair of sense controls. Same message.

Hmm, problem goes away if I turn on "always vibrate" in app. It seems app thinks watch is in some kind of quiet mode though I have checked all of them.

Except of course that I do NOT want to have notifications when I have watch in sleep mode.
