Every 8-10 hours I stop receiving app notifications on my Sense. When I check the settings, sure enough, it says that the notification service is not being executed and I need to restart my phone. When I do, nothing changes, so what I really have to do is to press on the message, which takes me to the phone settings where I can define which apps have access to the phone notifications. I then have to deselect Fitbit and select it again. When I go back to the fitbit app I no longer have the message and now everything works. For another 8h...
I'm getting really tired of this, as it used to work fine with my Versa 3. I've already tried everything I can remember:
Forget phone and reconnect;
Remove battery limits for the Fitbit app;
Always have fitbit app running in the background;
Factory reset watch and full new installation of fitbit app.
Nothing works, the notifications always stop working eventually.
Does anyone have another suggestion (I'm on Android)?

@lfgalvao - something isn't correct, have a look here, How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
Also restart the watch, Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone to clear any temporary issues.
Use SimpleCheckUp when you are not getting notifications (after the 8 hours) as it may indicate better what is happening.

Hi @lfgalvao - this is most likely a Fitbit App issue, which randomly loses connection with the watch.
You can use the SimpleCheckUp app on the watch to verify this as it will show you when the watch last synced and if it can or cannot connect.
Once the watch cannot connect you won't get any notifications but also check your Quick Settings (swipe face to the right) to make sure that Sleep and Do not disturb are off.
If you correctly setup a watch Sleep schedule then you will obviously stop getting notifications.

I installed the app and it found he watch after 1 second. Also, When I'm on the screen that says Notifications not working, in red, I can click on the 3 dots and send a test call to the phone and it works. So the phone and the watch are definitely connected. The problem is that the fitbit app assumes I haven't authorized fitbit to access my notifications even though this option is active. So I have to deselect it and select it again, to activate notifications. After about 8h, I have to do it again, because fitbit will again assume they are not active.

This solved my issue!
