Before I return this Sense, I thought I would ask if there is a way to disable the pause feature on the walk exercise. I don't see any "auto-pause" options in the menu. The fact that it pauses at all makes this worthless. If it's going to do this, have it ask to confirm you want to pause rather than imminently pause then ask you to resume. I have yet to have a SINGLE workout be recorded in it's entirely.
I can't confirm if it's my jacket touching the screen, or my wrist hitting the side button, or some unknown auto pause feature but this happens on my 30min works with no breaks every time about 7-8min into the walk then fails to record the rest of the event. This makes this device practically useless to me in the exercise department. This would happen from time to time on my versa in the winter when coats would hit the screen, but on this sense, it's happening 100% of the time for me.
I already wear this what I could consider borderline too high up my arm so suggesting we wear this higher on the arm is really a slap in the face. This is NOT a hardware limitation, this is a firmware coding decision and could easily be fixed with an update. Yet I don't see this on the product roadmap anywhere.

You can turn "auto-pause" off for run, though it isn't there for "walk". I haven't used 'run', but I'm not aware of any reason you should not use "run" for a walk. To get to it on "run", after selecting 'run' but before pressing arrow to start, scroll down through various options specific to that choice; near the bottom is "auto-pause".

I never had this issue pop on me as for maybe touching something like clothing esc causing it to pause have you tested that out? how about covering it with a long sleeve shirt or some longer gloves so it can't be bumped and see if it pausing the work out.
I walk every day, I do animal crawls, push ups, pull ups, jogging, running in place, walking, hiking, burpess, navy seal burpees, all kind of yoga stances, shadow boxing nothing so far has paused any of my work outs. if you cover it and it still pauses I suggest you take it back to where ever it was bought and exchange it for a new one you should have 90 days to return it.
Side note* this is new series of device expect a few hick up's don't get over frustrated with the watch make sure it not user error and then try to see if it hardware or firmware error's from what I can see a lot of frustration people have is user error. But don't get me wrong there is small problems here and there but as far as a the watch works for excising it **ahem** great so far.
Oh and turning on running exerciser will give ya false distance recording as the stride calculator is for running gate vs the walk calculator for the walking.

Walk doesn't have an option to enable auto pause which is a manual activated by the user.
