I got the Fitbit sense thinking it would sync with my phone (Pixel 4a). I get my text messages on my phone but that's about it. Any alarms, timers, or other notifications I've given permission to sync don't actually come over on my watch. It's like they don't exist. Tech support just told me to make the alarm on the watch but this defeats the purpose. I've restarted the device, I've checked all of the permissions multiple times and I'm just about at my wit's end.
I've already reached out to tech support via chat feature and it was less than helpful. If anyone has any idea, please let me know

Hi @haleyef - for comunications with the watch to work it has to be able to sync, this also sets the time.
For phone alarms the phone app often doesn't raise a notification on the phone so it can never appear on the watch which is why you were advised to use a watch alarm, it is more reliable too as it avoids the risk of syncing problems if a notification was made.
Have a look for a Pixel in the myhelp.fitbit.com for resolutions to the syncing problems.
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

@haleyef Unfortunately it's a limitation of Fitbit OS. I do use my phone alarm for a couple things during the day. For sleeping though I strictly used a Fitbit alarm as it's what's tracking my sleep and when it's appropriate to wake me up.
