Protection plan alternatives for Sense

I received  the Fitbit sense as a gift , but wasn’t able to access the protection plan offers when they popped up. I’ve read the previous responses and I think the offers popped up  on days 1, 3 and 11 as the responses said.   I’m at around day 16 post activation and around day 20 post purchase at Costco.
Any ideas on how to purchase a plan? Can I go to square trade or assurion directly?

I have tried customer service chat- he thought I still had a third offer coming at some random time but I think  that I got it already so that’s not an option.

this is something a moderator posted: "Customers who don’t buy the FPP at time of purchase from fitbit.com see a notification in the Fitbit app within 30 days of pairing a new device that gives them the option to buy the FPP.

That being said, if you’ve seen the offer 1 or 2 times, you'll get another offer soon. However, if you skip the 3rd the offer in the Fitbit app won't be available anymore.

An extended warranty called the Fitbit Protection Plan (FPP) is available for purchase with certain Fitbit products purchased in the United States from fitbit.com. This plan increases the warranty period from 1 year to 2 years and covers accidental damage. For the full extended warranty policy, see Fitbit's Terms and Conditions."

Why not go to Square Trade directly? I went there a few years ago for a different product.

Squarer ease is really the Allstate protection plan, I think. Online, Costco offers the ability to add on the Allstate plan within 30 days of purchase for many many products. Since Costco is closebuy, and was bought with my membership, I think I’ll go there first to try adding in a policy that is well-linked to the Sense. . Otherwise, it looks like it’s possible to buy a policy independently on the squaretrade/Allstate website.  I just think if I use that I’d have to keep closer track of the receipt. Would be lovely if the Fitbit offered the insurance trough its website instead  of a weird pop up on the app.

I've gotten things from Costco and later added the extended warranty. Let us know if you're successful - you just might help another member.

It almost doesn't matter what device you bought. Both Square Trade and Assyrian have plans for many types of consumer products and will be happy to sell you a plan.

Fitbit has simply partnered with them making it easier to purchase an extended plan.
