PurchaseStarted error when purchasing watch face

Hey Fitbit Peeps!

 

I tried purchasing a watch face for the first time, and could use a little help:

 

  1. Using the "Clocks" app on the watch, I selected "Open Gallery"
  2. This launched the gallery of watch faces on my phone (Android)
  3. I found a premium face I liked, and clicked "Install"
  4. The watch face installed with the message "PurchaseStarted" and a 6 digit code at the bottom.
  • No indication on the watch or the app of how to make this message go away or how to "Complete" the process.
  • I've waited about 10 hours
  • I've power cycled both watch and phone
  • I've force synced multiple times

The watch face in question is: "Simple" v 1.0.0 by Daniel Ciobanu

I found it. It was in the description of the clock face. I think that's the same site I went to for my clock face I bought.

You should probably contact the developer about that.

Can you scroll around or tap for more information? I did a paid clock face and had to go to a site, enter the code, and pay. Keep the confirmation email because if you uninstall, there's a different site to reinstall previous orders.

Just had the same experience.  Now I have the new watch face, but all other settings seem to have changed, and I can’t change anything on the Settings screen.  It now won’t turn in by lifting and it’s in Dim light mode.  Anyone know a truck in how to re-set things?

That worked. Didn't occur to me that to complete the purchase I needed to find an URL buried in the description! I wrongly assumed the charge would come via Fitbit.

Yeah the one I got at least had the website with the code.

Try switching clock faces. Long press the clock face and see if you can pick another. If not, try restarting by long pressing the side button of 8 or more seconds.
