Hi guys. I know there are several other posts about draining battery life, but seems like the answer is always, “okay, just don’t use it or any of its features!”, which I find ludicrous. I have a Versa 3 and a Sense. I previously had the Versa and Versa 2. Both were great, all 4 were bought new. Even the Versa 3 was great up until a few months ago. The Sense I have never had good luck with. With both the Sense and Versa 3, I can not get over a 3 day battery life. I use zero apps. I don’t use it when I workout (I use my Apple Watch exclusively for workout tracking). I literally just use it to track steps and sleep as I have found it to be the most accurate step tracker. I used to have to charge it (Versa 3 and Sense) once, maybe twice a week, now it is almost every other day. I have had no change in use, settings, apps, etc. What is going on? How is this acceptable? IMO, it is not okay to say the battery life is X, but have the caveat be that that’s only the case if it is sitting on your desk at home and never on your wrist. My electricity bill is only $10 a month too… when I’m not there and only the fridge is running. I guess my frustration lies in the fact that my watches used to work perfectly well and then all of a sudden, after I’m sure after they screwed something up with an update, now it is not. I was wondering if anyone had anything that worked other than their “don’t use it” solution.

Does a " do you really need this feature toggled on all the time" help? Since your battery life has gone down the drain sometime during the past couple of months, my guess it is because of "snore detection". I can't see the point in having that "on" all the time, since it is highly unlikely that your snore pattern changes overnight.

Just adding on to what @LokeAa said, sometimes the clock faces also drain battery, especially if they're made by a third-party. Is your clock face one that was made by Fitbit?

I had the same problem. I disabled the GPS feature but kept using everything else except for the snore monitor (because it keeps your mic active all night) it works great now and I get 6+ days. The GPS you can always turn back on when you need it if you want Hope that helps. to.

Hi @Scojo56 - it seems it's a problem coming from the firmware update.
All you can do is remove all the options for now until a fix is issued.
That is no GPS, no snore detection, no SpO2 tracker app installed, no SpO2 clock face and all the usual settings.
It could possibly be impacted by a clock face as @DramaQueenDiva has mentioned.
There is a new firmware update currently rolling out, but they don't say if the drain problem is fixed.

So glad you mentioned this. I recently noticed my battery has been draining terribly overnight. It'll be fully charged when I go to bed and I wake up and its dropped 30%. Every other thread I've read is all about turning off aps and everything else, I don't notice it being that bad during the day. I am going to try this and hopefully it'll fix my issue! Thank you!

It has been happening to me lately. Every other day I have to charge full. I have no apps running except the workouts and the sleep.
I had an IONIC for 3 years and it was super super great, but had to turn in because Fitbit said there was danger of battery explosions'.
Who knew.....
Can anybody tell me their experience with the new Sense?
Also, when swimming it takes a while to update de laps, so I have leave it until it updates, but it screws my timer.
Will await for your comments.
Thanks
Veronika

The snoring report is one of the features I was looking for, it is quite ok.

Hi @VeroPar - the snore detection will probably use about 2 days battery life, and SpO2 another 2, so it's more the features you choose to use that affects battery life, explained more in How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life

Hi @Scojo56 - have you tried restarting both watch and phone? Normally the syncing anytime should not be causing any issues so if it persists look into what is causing it.
It could be related to something on your particular phone and OS version and current settings.
