Sense Battery is always low

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have my sense watch since ca 2 months and the battery always did last for 5-6 days. Since 2 weeks the battery is already low after 2-3 days max. I always charge when the battery is around 5% or dead and charge until 100%.

can you please help me?

kind regards.

Make sure you don't have snore detect turned on - big battery drain.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I have been experiencing the same issue with my Sense and also seem to have noticed that it started 2-3 weeks ago. I can't think of any changes that i made in how I use my Sense. I believe Snore Detection is only under Premium -- either way, I don't believe that I am currently using it.

I am very concerned that with such a steep drop from 4-5 days between charges to just over one day - my battery will soon not hold a charge at all.

I hope that we will get a resolution soon.

Ah thank you very much! This could be it! I had it turned on. Will turn it off and will see if something is changing

Am I right that Snore Detection is part of Premium -- I am unable to find it anywhere on my watch or app?!

Also, why would that all of sudden lead to faster battery drain -- did it just start working?

In phone app:

Sleep tile > gear icon near top right > Detect Snoring

Not sure if only Premium or not.

Worth checking anyway, even if don't remember turning on.  Sometimes settings seem to get changed mysteriously.

Snore detect is probably best used for a night or 2 just to see if you do snore, or to get a baseline, then turn off for a while until you think something might have changed and want to check again.  Takes a big battery hit to be listening all night.

Thanks JohnnyRow.

I could not find the snore detect in the sleep settings within the app – might be a free vs premium issue. However, after a poking around somewhere else in the app, i came upon a notification that said a device update was available. I am installing it now in the even that it helps to resolved my issue.

Will follow up in a few days when I get a sense of the impact.

Thanks for the screenshot -- good to know that I was looking in the right place. Bedtime reminder is definitely the last item on that screen for me. I do recall turning it on in the past...maybe when I had the premium trial? Would be interesting if it is still using up resources even though I no longer have the function.

Has anyone else noticed the firmware update notification? I am hoping that is the fix for me.
