I'm curious if anyone else's Sense will break after its been unused for a while?
Watch is about 2 years old, and wasn't used that often.
Support basically confirmed that its broken and offered me a discount on purchasing another one.

Hi @DanHeintzel - hopefully the answer to your other post on this matter was helpful.

Hello there!
I’m posting this to let everyone know that I regret every buying a Fitbit.
Mine broke while sitting in a drawer for 6 months in nearly perfect condition with no misuse conveniently after the warranty expired. Fitbit refuses to replace it, and instead wants me to purchase another one.
so unless you like paying for a brand new watch ever 13 months, you should return yours if you still can!
Hope you all have a great day.

Disagree on quality of watch. I’m happy. All I know is I’ve had my original sense and original charger for over 3 years. I really don’t understand why there are a lot of the negative reviews compared to positive review's on the site. I suspect it’s skewed to complaint vs positive reviews because people do not come here to post favorable reviews only to complain. It’s misleading in that regard.

I mean, the reviews will always be skewed because who are happy or mad at the purchase leave them.
Imagine that you haven’t used your laptop in 6 months. When you go to turn it on, you find that it is physically broken, but from no fault of your own. Would you give it a good review? I liked the watch when it worked. I just wish I came across more reviews from people saying the watch quit working just after the warranty expired. It seems to be too common of a thing.
Fitbit could also just make a watch that doesn’t break while sitting idle, or actually care about their customers when they experience issues with their product. That would also probably improve their reviews.
Moderator edit: updated post.

@DanHeintzel - this is a user forum, you need to chat with customer support via the Fitbit app Help & support section and see if they will make an exception.
Lithium batteries require conditioning prior to storage (applies to PCs too but with larger batteries less important) and if not prepared for storage the battery can go into deep sleep and may not wake.
Try charging repetitively for 30 minutes at a time over some days using a new charge cable connected via a PC.
A PC will give you information through sounds as to how the watch is behaving and give you a better picture of the situation.
