I have an issue with the Haptic button not working on the sense. I chatted with support and they offered a 35% discount on a new fitbit device. Which I feel a device that is less the 3 years old is unacceptable.
Anyway I completed the requested factory reset and now the Fitbit software is coming up with Update Tracker.
Not sure why, the tracker is currently on 44.128.6.17.
I keep updating the Sense and the software keeps saying update tracker. The tracker does complete the update with a green ticket and I even get the setup screen in the Fitbit App. Though once setup, it has the red update Tracker software.
Well to show signs of my insanity, I updated the tracker, again and again, from Andriod phone to Apple IPAD. and still has Update Tracker Software Red band.
So I have does this multiple times, yes device and Sense are 100% full on the battery.
The weird thing is that the haptic button is now working.
So how do I get the fitbit software to stop asking me to Update the Tracker ?
Or was there a x-mas update for the Sense ?
Any ideas ?

HI @xl-at-it - luckily Christmas is only once a year! This problem seems like a syncing problem, in that the app doesn't fully recognise the update.
Remove the Bluetooth entries for the watch from the phone.
Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on or any other watches on at this point.
Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync fully. That may help to clear it, if not run the Set-up a device and replace, to rebuild the Bluetooth entries and sync.

Still same, used IPAD, ANDROID same results on either. The watch starts update reboots, sits on about 70% (on the screen) for some time, then it completes and is on the screen. The phone has that the update was successful. Though when you go back to the Fitbit screen, it says update available.
I am going to give up now, looks like a Sense issue. I have gone past the denial stage, I am on acceptance, that it is faulty so some extent.
Thank you for your assistance

I need to add, completed via Bluetooth and WIFI all provide the same results. I think the factory reset on the sense clears the update as the initial setup shows it as an older firmware. I just cannot get past this 'Update Tracker', it should that current firmware is correct on the Sense. The Sense works fine, though the Haptic button is temperamental.
Have accepted it is faulty.
