Hello, over the last week my watch has failed to track sleep. I have had the watch since July 2023 and occasionally had a night here and there but it's now consistently not tracking. I have researched all of the comments and feedback and I have tried all of the things - cleaned the sensors twice, restarted app twice, the app is updated, restarted watch twice, sleep sensitivity is on, I wear it firm on my wrist 2 fingers above my wrist bone. Everything else on the watch is working and my heart rate is being tracked.
Is this an app issue since the big update or could there be something wrong with my watch?
Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to me. My Sense last tracked my sleep on Tuesday the 3rd. Tried rebooting Sense and app. No luck.

Also having the same problem. My
spouse has an older version of sense and has no problem.

This is so interesting! It’s got to be the new app. I wonder if Fitbit will comment on this and provide some feedback.

I would agree that this is an issue with the new FitBit app and not related to any specific watch model. My wife & I have different model watches and have both had 1 night of inaccurate sleep recorded ever since updating the FitBit app. Everything is working fine for us now, but we did have inaccurate sleep data right after updating the app.

I don't think it will be fixed by itself. FitBit will need to push a new app update to the Play Store / App Store with a fix for this bug.

I had this problem a number of times in the past. My "solution" was/is to reboot the sense every evening before bed.

Since Wednesday...no sleep tracking either...and now my watch will not sync with app. Just a big red ! It must be the changes....very frustrating.

I too have been having a problem with my Sense recording my sleep. Immediately after the new software update. Obviously, that is what I suspect is causing the problem. I hope Fitbit fixes this fairly quickly, because my main reason for having a smartwatch is to track my sleep. As an insomniac, this is very important to me.
Thank you for any help Fitbit can provide.

the same here since the update my syncing is very sporadic. It’s very frustrating waiting on syncs three times turning phone on and off. If they don’t fix this problem I’ll be getting and Apple Watch.

I think it’s a broader issue as I have seen many similar comments across different Fitbit community App and Device pages. I hope that Fitbit have this logged as a priority to restore.
