Why does my Fitbit app tell me notifications aren't working and a phone restart is required? I've restarted my phone and watch but still no change. I have to go to my phone settings all the time to connect the Bluetooth- is that normal too? Thanks

Hello
What make of phone do you have?
When I got my first fitbit (Blaze) I had an Huawei and had to constantly do as you do restarted my phone to regain notifications
I now have a Samsung and have had no trouble
Fitbit have a list of compatible mobiles (cell phones)
Some models will have trouble with certain functions especially if they have its own OS
I'm sure you've tried this but if not try unpairing your sense restart sense and phone pair sense again see if that works
Hope ti's helps

Welcome on board, @Wooders21. @Newtripley Thanks for sharing those great suggestions!
@Wooders21 I appreciate the details provided and every step tried on your own. Our team has received reports from our members about the notifications not working on the Sense when syncing with Huawei phones, and they're working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and while we don't have a time frame, you can give a try to the steps suggested by our member above to see if that helps. Please make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated as some fixes and improvements come through app updates.
See you around.

@SimpleBerryRoy It's good to see you here.
Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your phone's model. According to the reports we've received, this issue has affected Huawei users when receiving notifications on their Fitbit devices. I understand you're having the same issue with your Sense, and because you have a different phone, I'd recommend contacting our Support team so they can see what can be done to help you with this matter. They're available via chat and phone, just click here to get connected with them.
See you around.
