Sense Pairing to Iphone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have followed all the steps suggested by community regarding the pairing of my Fitbit to my iPhone. It will still not stay paired. I have even factory restored the watch, deleted all data/info off of the Fitbit app. Removed from Bluetooth, turned off Bluetooth. Hard booted my phone and started new. It stayed paired longer than before, but still unpaired later. Is there any real solution to fixing the pairing problem or do I just return the Fitbit?

Hi, @Magnoliacc, welcome to the community. Go to your app tray on your phone and examine the settings for your Fitbit app. In particular, ensure the battery-saving function is disabled for the Fitbit App. Some phones put the app to sleep, treating it as non-essential while we need it to be running constantly in the background.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

I did what you suggested and while it stayed paired longer than before, it is still not staying paired. Any other suggestions?

Hi, @Magnoliacc, thanks for your update, can you please provide more information? You indicate your "Sense" does not remain paired to our iPhone if the "Sense" control has disconnected from the Bluetooth settings list this is not the same as being unpaired. Are you getting notifications from your phone on your "Sense" Can you sync your "Sense" by sliding your finger down the "Today" screen on the Fitbit app?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

Thank you for responding. Yes, Sense Controls keeps disconnecting from my Bluetooth. The only way I can connect again successfully is to forget the device and set it up again via pairing. I hope I explained it better. 😁

I get notifications on the Sense if bluetooth is connected to Sense Controls. If it disconnects, then no notifications come in until I connect it again.

I can sync it from the app, but after sync it disables the “on wrist” notifications.

Hi, @Magnoliacc Have you successfully used your voice assistant? While you may not see "Sense Control" on the Bluetooth list do you see "Sense" How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch? explains the setup.

Let us know.

I have when Sense control is connected. When it’s not connected it won’t work.

Hi, @Magnoliacc , Thanks for that. I'm struggling to replicate your problem as I do not use iPhones. I think your best way forward is to talk to "Customer Support". Be prepared for a long conversation & get your ducks in a row before making contact.

Good Luck.

Cheers
