Sense Stopped Working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Sense has stopped working, like literally **ahem** down when exercising (cardio) Monday evening. Customer service walked me through steps to reboot and get it working again. Low and behold, Tuesday did the same exact thing. This time, reboot does not work and rep says I will be emailed 12-24hours of a resolution. What? Has anyone ever heard of that before? I had a Versa completely stop working and they instantly sent me a new one. Meanwhile, my watch is not even a year old yet. I purchased it the end of May 2021.

Exactly after One year two months and 15 Days - my sense stopped working and what customer service says after few hard reset. warranty expired we are offering you a discount on new product.

Do not like customer service not accepting the fact that Sense has a known issue and Fitbit after making so much money just not responsible for a bad product.

Well I contacted  support and they said clean watch and charger, which I did. My watch started working again briefly but battery drained before days end (and I wasn’t doing much!!). I’ve had to have band replaced, 2nd charger and this is the second time it had done this buzzing and stopping thing. My daughters watch died well before mine but now I would say mine is done too. Never had issues before this sense and I love Fitbit. Alas I am now over sense. Fitbit knows there are issues but don’t do anything about them for customers, especially after short warranty period. I will now be doing what my daughter did and going to Apple. Not as good for fitness but also WORKS for years and you can physically go in and have any trouble shooting done in store (not that she has needed to).
The last few days I have found it a bit liberating not tracking my ‘every’ move including sleep. I don’t peek at the time if I wake in the night (not having a

watch to peek at!!) and have found I am sleeping better. I know how active I am after years of Fitbit use, so thanks Fitbit and I bid you farewell x

I called Fitbit and they walked me through some cleaning steps (alcohol wipe of charger pins and back of Fitbit) and turning off the snoring monitor. Told me to try letting it charge for a while. No go! At least I have a case number now and hopefully won’t have to go through all the explanations again. I bought it at Kohl’s almost six months ago, so I’m not sure they’ll exchange it.

Had fitbits for years, had various issues with short battery life and not charging but now I’m get issues with false HR readings. I think this is the final straw and it will go elsewhere in future. They don’t seem to care that the product is sub standard and will replace to make it go away short term but from the number of posts it’s clear the issues people are having!

So I mailed the faulty Sense back that is still under warranty, following
the instructions given by customer service. They said takes about 5 days.
Needless to say, 7 business days later, still heard nothing. Reach back out
to customer service, and was told my old watch is scheduled to reach it's
destination May 23rd. Wtf? Then I have to wait for it to be processed, then
finally the replacement ships. This process is jacked up! I had problems
with a Versa in the past and had a new watch within days. What is the
problem now? I will have gone without my watch for dam near a month. How is
it you pay quite a bit of money for a product, doesn't even make it a year,
and have to wait so long? Fitbit you have to do better! I have had so many
watches/trackers over the years. I am honestly to the point of going with a
different company, and I know that I am not the only one.

Same experience.  Watch vibrating and blank screen.  put it on the charger and now nothing.  Just out of warranty.  Planned?
