I and others on here are having issues with the Sense not recording the correct stroke.
In my case, I switched from Ionic to the Sense. My ionic always recorded my breaststroke swims correctly but the Sense shows Freestyle.
I have exchanged several emails with Fitbit Support with no satisfactory conclusion. Today, I created a separate account to connect my Ionic. I wore both the Ionic and Sense for the same swim. The Ionic recorded the correct breaststroke but the Sense "Freestyle". I provided screenshots to support.
They have asked me to reset my Sense to Factory settings, delete from my app and do a new setup. I'm doing that right now and will repeat the test again.
Fitbit claim this is "NOT A COMMON PROBLEM" - I would be interested to hear from anyone who owns the Sense and has successfully recorded a breaststroke swim.
