Noticed this when I’ve been walking around all morning and the watch and app said I had around 500 steps. So I ran on the spot to get the watch numbers up then went into the app and synced it, it dropped back down to 569 both watch and app…. I’m in a step challenge group with friends and it says I currently have like 30k but when I look at the 4 days so far in the week I have like an average of 2k steps each day. Doesn’t add up

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SammyParadise.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Sense. Thank you for the information provided.
Below are some possible factors that could have caused this issue with your missing steps:
1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your Fitbit Sense tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app or synced data from a 3rd party app. Activities from third party apps are synced to Fitbit as manually logged activities (won't count towards leaderboards/challenges).
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.
We also recommend waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates.
For more information, please see our information about challenges in this article.
Hope this helps.
