Hi there,
Our team has released the new Fitbit iOS App 3.43 version and it should be available for all of you. Please make sure to download it from the App store as this will resolve the battery short life issues experienced on your Sense. Take in mind that this and future Fitbit app versions will require iOS 13.4+.
Hi everyone. Thanks for your continued reports.
Our team is aware of the Sense not holding charge when syncing with iOS devices and they're working to bring a fix as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend force quitting the Fitbit app on your iOS devices to prevent the battery from draining when syncing.
I've moved your posts to this thread so we can keep our team informed of this situation. Your patience is truly appreciated and please know your feedback hasn't gone unnoticed.
See you around.

I am completely annoyed by this issue. Feels like all day I am chasing battery time on my Sense since the update. If Fitbit is aware of the issue, why is customer service acting surprised with every call? Some people are getting their devices replaced, some are being told that the issue will be elevated or taken to a different team and getting instructions to remove anything and everything that might be taxing the battery a little more. Will a new device work without the battery drainage? If that's the case, I am still within warranty time, I would like to get a replacement too. Why not revert back to the previous restore point until this can be resolved. I didn't pay all this money for the device and premium service to be a slave to a charger just to be able to even be able to tell time. This needs to be resolved soon. I am losing faith and the patience that I had initially.

It appears that Fitbit has admitted that this battery drain is indeed an issue. Does this include both Andriod and iOS?
This admission is a big step and hopefully will lead to improved customer service.

I only started getting the battery draining issue when I did the update last week. Since then the battery is only lasting a day. I’ve not changed any settings. Previously it held a charge for round 5 days since I first bought it at Christmas. This really isn’t acceptable. I only purchased the Fitbit because of its superior battery life. If I wanted to charge daily I would have bough the Apple Watch. Please can you confirm this issue will be fixed ASAP. 🙏

Turn off bluetooth, that will help with the drainage of the battery.

When will we get a fix for this issue? Can’t you remove the last update? It is very frustrating to have such an expensive watch and to have all these issues.

I agree with Tim, I forced the update on the app and my battery life is what it was before. Strange how an app can drain the life out a watch!

I have five quit the fit bit app and not opened it all day to find my sense battery has already died when I go to check it that evening after been full charged at 100% at 9am to battery dead at 19.00 with no notification of low battery. I also did the firmware update. Any solution ? I bought the sense because you said it was 6 days battery life now it’s less that a day 😿

I’ve done the forced update and everything with no improvement on this issue.

Is there any update on this? Mine will hardly hold a charge throughout a day.

Same issue for me. Did a force close of the App which helped until I synced to upload the data. Forced closed again but then battery drained. This is a worry.

Thanks Tim. I've updated the app and turned Bluetooth back on so let's see how long the battery lasts - fingers crossed

Hi There!
Suddenly my Sense has been struggling to hold a charge for more than 8-12 hours. I woke up yesterday morning and it was dead, even though I charged it the night before. Then, yesterday evening it died as well. I charged it again, did a restart, force quit the app (on my iphone, everything is updated), and I changed the watch face to one that was more recently updated by Fitbit. This morning my watch was dead again. This is out of the blue and usually my watch lasts for 4-5 days. Do we have a solution yet? I'm trying to contact support but no luck. Also I should add that I did not change any settings before this began. No new apps, etc.

See Timr13 response. Force update the app on your phone to the new version 3.43.1. This is not an automatic update.
This worked for me.
