Hi @Celticleisure20 - your watch may have a fault.
First try holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Also see if the battery lasts longer with the phone Bluetooth switched off.
If neither help the watch is probably damaged. If it gets hot when charging stop immediately.
You can always try a factory reset but it is unlikely to fix it, and just be a lot of effort, so if it is under warranty it can be replaced.
