Sense battery draining quickly

I've had a Sense for a few years.  Disabled notifications and apps.  Used the "All Stats" clockface by Jason Olsen, and turned all the screen text to white.

I used to get about 12 days of battery life, which was fantastic.

The Sense died on vacation over the summer and the clock face would not turn on.  Fitbit / Google replaced it. Kudos for customer support.  I cannot get more than 3 days of battery life with the new device; which is incredibly frustrating.

I read everything here, but I'm out of ideas of what to try next.  Did I just get an old device with a crappy battery? Or did I just get incredibly lucky the first time around?

Welcome to the forums @reboog711.

Thank you for providing the information about the difficulty with your Sense. Thanks for trying to fix it on your own.

Please, confirm that you have followed the steps listed in this help article:  Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Yep, thought I was alone, haven't been able to sync to phone for weeks and sense battery lasts a day, if that.

Bought Charge 6 since the sense is a few years old, but Fitbit demands I migrate to Google account.  Ok, so I try that, but the migrate fails, so I'm basically stuck.  There's so many words I'd like to share to fully express how I feel about the product managers and developers...

Yes, I've tried all the steps listed there.

  • I have not tried to charge the device in extreme cold or heat.
  • I have disabled the screen from turning on based on my wrist turning.
  • I do not have the always on display set up.
  • I do not use GPS.
  • I disabled all notifications from apps.
  • I removed the music app.
  • I do not have suica or iPass on my fitbit device.
  • I changed the clock face to the "All Stats" clockface by Jason Olsen, and turned all the screen text to white.
  • This clock face does not support the sp02 tracking.

The one thing I didn't do was turn the screen brightness down, because anything lower than max is too dim for my aging eyes.  This is similar to how I set up the original.

Edit to add:

  • Fully Charged on Friday.
  • Went down to 75% end of day Saturday; so I lost 25% of battery life.
  • Early Sunday Evening, I'm down to 25% batter life. I went to a concert Saturday night, so all I did today was sleep, and that lost me 50% battery life.

This has started to happen to me today. Was fine for years, battery lasting several days. Now it suddenly drained within a day, nothing was changed. Going to try ideas from other threads.

I've followed all the steps as well. My watch died and I didn't even wear it! Wasn't synced either. It plain dies.

Have you found any idea that worked? After an update about 2 weeks ago, my Sense 2 went from needing to charge once a week to every 3 days. TY
