Sense battery draining quickly

I suppose the inevitable end is near. The mandatory update (battery capacity downgrade) a couple of months ago took the battery capacity down to a little over two days. This weekend, I was surprised to wake up to a nearly dead watch after charging it the day before, but it's been consistent since then, using battery at about 6% an hour, or 17 hours total life. Now I'm going to be charging it twice a day.

I've tried rebooting it, no improvement. It's not getting warm like my previous one that failed and thankfully was replaced under warranty. I was swimming with it this weekend, but it's still working perfectly, just using more battery.

Not sure if I'll try replacing the battery as I see a recent post about that, or just be done with Fitbit. This is my third or fourth one, and they seem to be far more disposable than they should be.

Hi @kudro,  Welcome to the Fitbit community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the battery issues you have recently experienced with your Sense. Thank you for the troubleshooting you have already tried.

The update you are talking about would reduce battery capacity. However, the firmware was launched for a limited units. For more information about this topic, i invite you to read our article Sense and Versa 3 Battery Performance Program.

Im having the same issue.  Just started happening within the last week and half.  My battery consistently lasted 5-6 days, then suddenly its now only lasting 24 or so hours.   I charged it last night at 6pm, today at 11 am its at 50%.

I have turned off all notifications, reminders, and several tracking features.  Did hard reboots.  Even reverted to a factory reset and nothing has resolved this issue.  I've been a fit bit using for over a decade, my Sense 2 being my third device.  Im currently researching Amazfit and Samsung devices as possible replacements.   I've only had this current unit since fall 2023, so its way to soon for it to fail.  A $300+ device should have a lifespan of more than 18 months IMHO.
