Since taking the most recent Fitbit sense update, my sense needs to be charged throughout the day and will die overnight.
I have changed my clock face, my watch display is set to not always on, the brightness mode is set to normal, the only time I use my GPS is when I go for a runs.
I want to wear it to bed to monitor my sleep, but then my alarms don’t go off because my watch has died throughout the night, and then I can’t wear it when I run or work out in the morning because it Hass to be charged.
I have shut it down and turned it back on but that hasn’t helped either.

The battery draining issues may NOT necessarily be due to the firmware upgrade but due to a known issue with the iOS Fitbit App, and now may be the Android Fitbit App 3.42, in some cases.
It is possible the upgrade procedure hastened the onset of this issue.
Have a look at these posts it may apply and temporarily bypass the issue.
Essentially recreating the Bluetooth link may stop the App chewing the watch battery.
If not stop Bluetooth on the phone or the Fitbit App, especially overnight.

Since GPS is the largest battery hog on the tracker, and the largest battery hog on the phone, it is recommended to charge the sense after using GPS. 15+30 minutes should be more thaw night to add a day to the battery life.

That’s is a simple answer from someone that obviously did not shell out big money for their watch..I have spent hours .. factory reset and all the help and advice. Searching forums for answers and calling the team..
I have had nothing but problems with my Fitbit sense to syncing, freezing and not collecting data .. a gps that continues to drop out .. finally got some of those issues partially fixed and now a battery that only lasts a day!
another update will probably arrive to nullify the above advice..
and who knows what problems that update will cause!
Im am guessing we will just continue to get one fix after another keep calling for advice until the guarantee runs out..
