I returned my Ionic to order a replacement Sense because of the Health aspects and battery life.
Now I’m reading that the battery is not as advertised and you have to turn off health metrics to get battery life.
Should I have just ordered an Apple Watch instead of Fitbit and sucked it up on both battery life and health aspects?

I’m not sure where you read that you need to turn off health metrics to get battery life. I get well over 4 days battery and use health metrics, on wrist calls, text messages, emails, outlook etc. etc.
Unlike some, I am very happy with the sense purchase. I’ve read apple battery requires charging daily.

I read it on the community site. Many people have written that they have to turn off features or lose battery. I am happy to hear that you don’t. My ionic lasted about 5 days.
Thank you

My battery drains down to 50% every single day I have to charge it for 15 minutes to get back to 100%

If you have not done so already, take a look here for some ideas to increase battery life. Determine which features you do not want running and shut them down. I don’t use every feature (or need certain settings) which use high battery consumption.

Have you turned OFF snore and noise report
as well as turned off readiness report. These are ones that use a lot of battery and you do not know they are running in the background gathering data.
If you have done this then, I would contact support.
Additionally, try to monitor if the drain is consistent through the period. Check it before bedtime and when you wake up. If majority of the drain is for the period is overnight, you got snore report on.

Go to today page
top right click edit (you then have the ability to add or delete tiles.
You should see a daily readiness tile. Click on the “X” and it deletes and moves it to the bottom of the page.
if you want to add any back just click on the “add” next to that tile.
You can also hold your finger on a tile and it will activate so you can move them around and position them in the order you like.
You can see below that my readiness score tile is not active.

MY Ionic also only charged every 5 days. I hate that I turned it in. The sense is a mess.

@Flightmiss What are your settings? I can get 4 whole days with these settings:
Brightness dim, screen wake motion and button, always-on display off, snore & noise detection off, SpO2 on.
The biggest battery drainers, especially overnight, are the snore & noise detection and SpO2, but more so the snore & noise. With it on, I lose around 20% over 7 hours of sleep. With that option off, I only lose around 6-8% over 7 hours of sleep. I had it on for over a week and I don't snore and noise is minimal so it wasn't worth the drain. If I turned off SpO2 I would definitely get 5-6 days. I keep that on because it's part of the health metrics.

I’m not familiar with the ionic. If it did not have all the features of the sense then I can see why it consumed less battery and lasted longer between charges.
