Sense battery is quickly draining

I have an Android phone and a new sense that needs to be charged every other day. I have limited there features, even though that's why I upgraded, but it's still drains ridiculously fast.

Hi @bsense  -  in the latest version of firmware there are new features which you may not have disabled such as Snore detection or SpO2 tracker app, have a look at the checklist of battery drainers to localise the source of short battery life - How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Hi, @bsense, welcome to the community, you may find this article useful Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? FYG I get about 25% drain per day following a 90-minute swim and an hours walk plus usual daytime activities. I have the snore report off but use GPS during the walk.

I have the problem since new update my spo2 face is draining over night from fully charged I didn't have this problem before update it lasted 4 days wiv slow feature

Hi, @Emma9876 welcome, can you tell us if the update was to your phone OS (what is the make, OS, & model of your phone?) or to the Fitbit app. Go into your phone app tray, clear the cache, ensure all permissions are allowed and that any battery-saving function on your phone has been disabled for the Fitbit app. Let us know if this makes any difference.

It's the update on the sense itself I have a Motorola g8 plus everything
worked fine before it updated now my battery don't last 24 hours l got this
watch for the spo2 feature and always used it with the spo2 clock and
always lasted 4 to 5 days till the last update I've cleared my cache days

I have had my watch for only 3 weeks and my drainage is mostly at night .

My charge stays in the 90% during the day after I charge it ,then the next morning it has dropped to 55-50%

And the next morning it is very low 10-15% so basically only 36 hours of charge instead of the 6 days promised!

Very deceiving I miss the battery life of my Ionic that started freaking out before Christmas !

So I suspect the snore and SpO2 are maybe the problem ...I will try that 

But as others say it is deceiving that you have to turn off the features you bought the watch for..

Thanks. I have never had either of those features on. I ended up turning off almost everything to see how it goes. Disappointing purchase, I’m afraid.

The battery for my Sense is draining within 24 hours. It is ridiculous that I "upgraded" from my Charge II and pay a premium for features that must be turned off in order to use my new, more expensive Fitbit to work, without constant charging. Frankly, this is a deal breaker for me. I have been toying with changing to a Galaxy Watch, but have so enjoyed my prior Fitbits, (I got my first Fitbit in 2015 and haven't been without one since) that I never saw the need to pay the additional $$$. But such poor battery life on the Sense is likely going to compel my switch. I hope Fitbit finds a solution which does not involve foregoing the features that make the product.  It would be a shame to have to switch.

I have my brand new Sense connected to my Apple cellular phone and the same thing was happening until two days ago it stopped charging at all!

@NotaBot  - it's primarily new features that are not included when the watch was sold, and current firmware, that is causing a problem with the battery.

If you check each of the functions in this article until you get a good battery life and then add the ones you really need it should work fine. How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life. 

@VilmaVE  - probably addressing the points in this link will resolve the charging problem. How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
