Hi @TicaRebe - that is about normal if you enable and use all the features all the time. Try disabling things like Snore detection and SpO2 - see the full list of things to watch for How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Snore detection will definitely shorten the battery life. While it is an interesting feature, it was one of the first things that I disabled.

It is horrible! I have to charge mine every day because it uses over 50% before bed time. I have only had it for 1 months or so. I should never had replaced my Versa 2 because at least it's battery lasted 3 days. Sheesh.

I have only SpO2 enabled as I did in my Versa 2. The first week I had my Sense, the battery lasted 4 days, but not now after 4 weeks...only 1 day. No options changed. I do enable sleep mode on a scheduled basis same as my Versa 2.

It is the same for me! I made no changes to options I only notice a change in behaviour for the clock face but it is the same clock face I have had since the last 6 months. But suddenly something is draining the battery much faster.

HI @CrazyCanuckian , @Tittelin - you need to check the active options from the link in the first reply.
Things change all the time, there are new versions of the Fitbit App, and maybe clock updates that happen while charging, or daily if not set manual, so even if you made no change it may not be working the same as before, even new features may get enabled. Also things may change on the phone.
It is possible to enable things inadvertently, like Always On and that will drain the battery more, it's one of the items to check in the link.

I now found changes in settings on the sense itself. The display was set to always on and now the screen saver is gone. Also the light on the clock was also set to MAX and I changed it to low.
The mystery is that I didn’t make any changes.

By chance, have you updated the Fitbit app recently? I haven't changed ANY settings, yet my Fitbit went from fully charged to 0% DEAD in less than 24 hours after updating the app. I contacted customer service because it's draining so quickly - they try to make you do the typical troubleshooting, but doesn't make sense unless the app update changes settings for you on its own.... but since it died during my exercise last night, they suggested I stop using the exercise function for now (and just let the watch auto track my exercises) because it might be the GPS draining the battery. I hope this is just a temporary troubleshooting thing because if I can't use the exercise function to track specific exercises, that's lame.

Hi everyone.
I'm sorry you're having this experience with your Sense, and appreciate the details provided as well as the steps tried on your own. Before anything else, let me explain that as with any other electronic device, the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used. As some of you know, if the Snore Detect, SpO2 and/or GPS tracking are enabled, you may have to charge your watch more often. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend reviewing this help article which describes some tips to maximize the battery life of your watch.
On the other hand, if the issue persists after trying those suggestions, my best advice is to get in touch with our Support team so they can further investigate and see what can be done to bring you back on track. They're available via chat and phone, just click here to get connected with them.

I got my fitbit sense about a week ago and have noticed that the battery drains very quickly. I know other people have had this issue as well, but am hoping that there might be some new ideas to try and deal with the drain. Would also like to get any info about a potential software update that might correct the issue.

@alyssamcosby Welcome to the Fitbit community.
What are your settings? I can get 4 whole days with these settings:
Brightness dim, screen wake motion and button, always-on display off, snore & noise detection off, SpO2 on.
The biggest battery drainers, especially overnight, are the snore & noise detection and SpO2, but more so the snore & noise. With it on, I lose around 20% over 7 hours of sleep. With that option off, I only lose around 6-8% over 7 hours of sleep. I had it on for over a week and I don't snore and noise is minimal so it wasn't worth the drain. If I turned off SpO2 I would definitely get 5-6 days. I keep that on because it's part of the health metrics.

I don't have any noise on. My fitbit lost about 40% battery yesterday and I got a hair cut and then had a chill day. No major usage at all and was fully charged in AM and down to 63% just before 10.

Always-on display off or on? What watch face are you using? Some might use more battery than others.
For reference, when I use always-on display I lose about 18-20% in 12 hours.

@alyssamcosby Oh and lastly, it could be a syncing or connection issue. Trying turning of and on Bluetooth on your phone and/or restarting both your Sense and phone.

Always on is off and use night mode when I go to sleep. I was using the L7 watch dace but have changed to a basic one.

I have disabled everything. I have had 4 FitBit models (Charge 3, Versa, Versa 2 and now the Sense). I know all the settings and the new ones too and how to preserve battery life. This device model needs a larger battery (redesign) to make up for the new features and firmware teething problems.
I charged to 100% (2 hours on charger in case 100% is not really 100%). at midnight now at 10 am waking up the battery is at 57%. Every option is disabled and I haven't used it, even as a watch. Horrible and disappointed .
