When I got my Sense around 7-8 months ago, the battery life was phenomenal. I was easily getting about 4 to 5 days out of it. Now, it is needing a charge every other day. I put it on after charging last night before bed. I have 85 percent left. Will likely need charging by either the end of the day.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I am not doing anything particularly taxing. Just normal usage.

I had this a few nights ago but restarting my Sense seems to have fixed it.

Hi. Do a reset on your watch and then go through all the steps in setting up. After that, turn off bluetooth and monitor the battery.

My sense battery drains very quickly. I've twice realized I'm wearing a dead Fitbit. Very disappointing.

Hi everyone and welcome to our new members.
@SunsetRunner and @lablover55 Thanks for your help and for sharing the steps that worked for you.
@mpseschrotty, @AngelaL04 and @Avioletmind Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the steps tried prior to posting. I understand how you're feeling about not taking advantage of your Sense features. Because your posts didn't mention, may I know if you're tracking GPS or SpO2 data? Also, are you using an animated clock face or Always-On Display? As with any electronic device, the battery life will depend on how often certain features are used as with some of them you may have to charge your watch more often.
That being said, please follow the tips described in this help article to maximize the battery life and make sure to charge your watch with the charging cable that came in the box.

I agree 100%!!! So disappointing! The Sense is not a cheap device and I expected better.

If restarting the phone and watch does not fix it, have a look at these posts it may apply.

Hi everyone and welcome to our new members. @Guy_ Thanks for stopping by to help our members.
@TEkeepmoving, @Rwilli48 and @Mirjam_ Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about this situation. I understand where you're coming from about your Sense battery not holding charge and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Because your post didn't mention, may I know if you've tried the tips described in this help article. As mentioned before, the battery life depends on how often certain features are used so please give a try to those tips. If by any chance the issue persists, please get in touch with our Support team via phone or chat so they can evaluate your options, and bring you back on track.
For the ones that are using iOS devices, let me share that our team is aware of the battery draining caused when syncing your watches. I'd recommend to check this thread for more updates about this matter.

I killed some apps and screen is not auto. Yesterday 2300 it was 100% and this morning 10 it was 88 %. I bought sense because of all the extras, but did not expect it would only last 2-3 days on one charge.... could it be the SPO2?

@mpseschrotty Your post was excellent, as it gave all the details about your situation, If only other people would provide the same level of detail.
Contrary to the other people posting, if going to Settings & Shutdown, charging and restarting doesn't resolve the issue your watch may be faulty and probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you with a replacement, if necessary.
@Mirjam_ 12% loss over night is normal with SpO2 tracking.

It could be.. I removed the clockface for it.

@lablover55 The SpO2 clockface on a Sense won't affect battery life particularly but the SpO2 Tracker app will.
The first firmware update to the Sense brought this tracker app by default hence the apparition in the Fitbit App of the information and reduction of battery from 6 to 4.5 days. The clock face is purely decorative and practically obsolete.

Hi everyone. It's good to see you participating in the Community Forums.
@Guy_ and @slbert Thanks for your great help!
@Mirjam_ and @lablover55 Thanks for the details provided. As our friends mentioned, using the SpO2 clock face or app will impact the battery life of your Sense when collecting this data during your sleep. What you can try is removing the clock face or app and monitoring your watch's behavior in the next days. If the battery improves, that might be the reason why you had to charge it more often before.
Please note our team is aware of a battery short life issue affecting the Sense only when syncing with iOS devices, and they're working on this situation to bring a solution as fast as possible. If this applies to you, please keep an eye to this thread so you can receive more updates.
