A simple review of the Community page reveals that many people have experienced a similar issue with their Sense within the last ~two weeks. This suggests something happened in the system, not the individual, causing vulnerable devices to malfunction. My device, for example, is one and three-quarters years old. While wearing it and doing nothing strenuous, I noticed it began to cycle on and off on my wrist. I called support, they gave me some suggestions that did not work, then forwarded my issue to another department. Quickly thereafter, I got a form email stating my Sense was out of warranty and a link to the Fitbit store to purchase a new device. I read the warranty agreement, and the SYSTEM ERROR supersedes the agreement. I want to know what Fitbit and/or Google are doing to help those affected by this systematic issue. The Community and I look forward to your response. ty

Exact same thing happened to me. They only offered a discount on a new device since mine is a year and a half old and out of warranty.

So far, nothing. I contacted Fitbit and got the discount for a new Fitbit device after my 13 month old Sense got stuck on the Fitbit logo screen and won't do anything more. It's hardly outside of warranty but outside of it nonetheless. Not happy with that answer, I contacted Google and eventually received an email that told me since I purchased the device in store and not directly from their website, they couldn't do anything more for me. They recommended I speak to the store I bought the device at (as if the store wouldn't tell me to go straight to Fitbit) or I could contact Fitbit (again). Seems like they either think or aren't willing to admit that all these devices failing is just coincidental and they have no part in it.

They are not doing anything. They will offer you a coupon to waste money on another faulty device and happily charge you for a Premium subscription that you can not even use with a broken device. FitBit is done. Horrible customer service.
