Sense blank screen

Morning all, Fitbit sense this morning not responding when button pressed or when rotate wrist. Only get the small white icon with bar through it in middle of screen. Can swipe up and so seems phone is on and also can see stats but watch won't connect to phone. Had a look at previous posts here and tried the 10 second button press but because I have it linked to my bank account this was only thing that came up and am no further forward. Any ideas!

Hi, @Fin1971  welcome to the community. Try a normal reset, squeeze the side button for about 20 seconds and release it when the Fitbit logo appears. After a further 30 seconds or so the clock screen should reappear.

If you can still sync your watch with the Fitbit app on your phone sync by dragging your finger down the "Today" screen on the app and when the green progress bar is complete note the state of charge. If it is very low and you have been charging your device you need to investigate why it's not charging. There are a lot of posts on this issue but briefly, you need to examine the 4 little pins on the charging cable puck to ensure they are all slightly proud and free (they are spring-loaded) If they are not in good order talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. Alternatively, you can buy a replacement cable at a modest cost from Amazon. You should also consider cleaning the back of your "Sense", I use rubbing alcohol with a cotton wool swab and a cotton bud the detail the contact points that take the charging cable pins.

If you are able to change the clock face installed on your Sense from the Fitbit app on your phone try another clock face but choose a Fitbit-designed clock face.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
