Went swimming for the first time with my sense, even set it to the ‘swim’ work out choice (so we’re literally able to swim with it and it’s sold as waterproof??) and it died within a few mins. it was full battery so that wasn’t the issue. unable to turn it on since, tried drying fully, plugging it in, restarting it, cleaning it - nothing.
been with fitbit for 7 years now but fed up of being misled and sold faulty products, don’t waste your money with them!!!

Hi @molliejane - thanks for the post and photo, sorry this happened, you're not the only one this happens to, even though that doesn't help your issue.
The seals are poor and deteriorate over time, but the moment water gets in which it has if the face can comes off, the watch is no longer usable.
Try a chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support.
It definitely is not intended to fail like that and hopefully they will do a courtesy extended warranty replacement.

it’s actually a joke, they shouldn’t sell it as waterproof with the exercise option for SWIM if this happens?
first time i ever used it for that as well and never got it wet before…
i contacted them and said they can’t do anything and won’t help, i’ve been a fitbit user for over 7 years and sadly this will be my last!
