I like the magnetic connection but because you have to slide the cable into place, the pins drag along the base of the watch. I think over time, this stresses the pins and can cause them to break. I reported this to FitBit via chat and they replaced it for me. Could turn out to be a chronic issue - May need to find more of a permanent solution.

I was having issues with my fitbit charging. I cleaned the pins and it started to work but now the watch is dead. Even when I press the switch for 10 seconds, I get nothing. I looked closely at my Charging Pins and I see one is smaller than the other three. Could it be broken or is this the design?

Hi @CrudenBoy and @lablover55. It's good to see you around the forums.
@CrudenBoy Thanks for the details provided and the time taken while troubleshooting your Sense. As @lablover55 mentioned, your charging cable seems to be broken as the pins of the charging cable should have the same size. Given this situation, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can evaluate your options and bring you back on track. Please click here to get connected with them via chat or phone, and make sure to share the steps you've tried so far.

My Sense charger stopped working a couple months past warranty. I called customer service; they directed me to the warranty dept, which sent me a discount to buy an entirely new device, then ignored my email letting them know this was not relevant to the issue I had reported. Even with a second phone call and even more of my time wasted, Fitbit refused to help in any way with the cost of the most relevant, least wasteful solution: a new charger. I paid for the charger myself but will never buy another device from this company.

Given the massive number of report of problems, it's clear the FitBit Sense charger is not fit for purpose. I've just had my second one fail in four or five months. This one I cleaned assiduously, hoping that would help, but no, again with the stuck pins! Chargers should not be consumables! I would expect to be able to use my watch and charger for many years. Having to replace the charger every couple months after warranty expires will make this a very expensive watch indeed! I expect after one more charger goes I'll request to return the watch.

Hi @CrudenBoy - the accuracy of what on the watch? It won't be affected by the charge cable.

Hi @JB_Black - what problem is it not solving?
If it's not charging check the charge cable, see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
